I am delighted to welcome you to our school.  At Scotstown School, we pride ourselves on being inclusive and supportive, where everyone is valued and respected.  Our school is situated in the heart of the Scotstown community in Bridge of Don in Aberdeen City. We currently have 204 learners aged from Nursery to P7.

Our aim at Scotstown School is for our children to be successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and able to contribute effectively to our school community and the world around us. We want our children to be nurtured, challenged and able to achieve in all that they do, through being life long learners, curious and creative.

We believe that Scotstown School is an important part of the community and we welcome parents to become partners in their children’s learning.  We believe that children learn best when there is co-operation between home and school.  We offer opportunities for you to be meaningfully involved in school life and we are appreciative of your support.

We value our position in the community and we welcome all pupils and their parents/carers to our school.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if we may be of assistance to you at any time.

We are grateful to one of our parents, Stuart Yeats, for supporting us in the creation of the virtual tour and images of the school - thank you!
